Ruthless brace worn by Kylian Mbappe earned him a place in history

In the FIFA World Cup 2022 Round of 16 game, Kylian Mbappe scored twice as France defeated Poland 3-1.
Kylian Mbappe of France further enhanced his reputation as a goal scorer by scoring twice against Poland in the Round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup. After Olivier Giroud gave France the lead, Mbappe scored twice to help his team advance to the quarterfinals with a 3-1 victory.
With his twin goals, Mbappe not only became the World Cup player with the most goals this year, but he also added a few new significant achievements to his already impressive résumé.
Mbappe now has a total of 9 goals to his name in FIFA World Cups following his double against Poland. In order to put the accomplishment into perspective, the GOATs Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have scored 9 and 8 goals in their respective World Cup careers, respectively.
