Poland and Argentina qualify for the World Cup

Argentina was unable to beat the Polish goalkeeper in the first 45 minutes as Wojciech Szczesny saved his second penalty of the tournament.
Szczesny was adjudged to have fouled Messi while Messi was reaching for a cross, but he dove to his left to stop the subsequent penalty kick. Messi had failed to convert his 31st career penalty attempt.Even though Poland had a star striker in Robert Lewandowski, their offensive threat was not great.
