After Tuesday’s third and final game ended in a tie via the Duckworth-Lewis (DLS) method due to a rain delay, India defeated New Zealand 1-0 to win the three-match T20 series. After Tim Southee made the decision to bat, India’s bowlers put on an impressive performance to limit New Zealand to 160.

New Zealand was all out in 19.4 overs, thanks to the effective bowling by the Indian team. Both Arshdeep Singh (4/37) and Mohammed Siraj (4/17) made an impression with the ball, taking four wickets each.
