FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022 : UEFA Euro statistics suggest that Portugal will win!

Cristiano Ronaldo may be able to lead Portugal to FIFA World Cup glory in Qatar in 2022, according to an incredible UEFA Euro statistic.

When the FIFA World Cup 2022 kicks off on November 20 in Qatar, football fans everywhere will be preparing for a high-intensity extravaganza and possibly seeing Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo play in the championship match. Now that a remarkable statistic suggests he may have lady luck on his side, Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo may be able to lead his nation to the coveted trophy this year.

Since 2008, the top scorers at the UEFA Euros have also won the World Cup titles that followed. With four goals, David Villa led all scorers at the UEFA Euro 2008 tournament. He later helped Spain win the 2010 World Cup. In a similar vein, Mario Goetze, who finished tied for the tournament’s top scorer with three goals, also scored the game-winning goal for Germany against Argentina in the 2014 World Cup final.

Ronaldo is currently having a bad season for Manchester United and is looking to turn things around before his trip to Qatar. He has played in 10 Premier League games, but has only managed one goal. Meanwhile, he has two goals and two assists to his credit from six Europa League appearances.

Portugal is grouped with South Korea, Uruguay, and Ghana and has never previously won a World Cup. Portugal struggled during the qualifying rounds, and their defeat to Serbia knocked them out and into the playoffs, where they had to maintain composure against Turkey and North Macedonia to advance to Qatar.
